Are you familiar with DOTA’s legendary Fountain Hook

Okay so

DOTA has a hero called Pudge, who is not like Blitzcrank in most ways but has, as probably his most defining ability, a hook that works much like Blitzcrank's Rocket Grab.

It reaches out at long range, grabs you, and pulls you to Pudge

Now, there used to be a fun thing you could do with this, called FOuntain Hooking

There's another hero, called Chen, who has an ability that, after a few seconds of cast time, teleports you directly back to the fountain in your base

And you used to be able to combine these abilities in a fun way

See, the hook brought the enemy to Pudge's position as of when the hook connected, but there was a short interval of time between when Pudge launched the hook and when the hook would actually connect

So if Chen used his teleportation ability to send pudge back to the fountain, and then Pudge threw out his hook at just the right time,

Dendi's Hook to Fountain Compilation Dota 2 Internat...

you would get pulled all the way to the fountain

Whereupon the fountain would destroy you with prejudice.

This was very very impractical so even though it's CLEARLY a bug it was left alone for a long time

Until at the International, the biggest tournament of the year, Na'Vi, in a deeply disavantageous position, actually started doing it for real, and turned a horrifically losing game around.

It was patched out immediately after the tournament, haha
