go to take the dog on a walk and get stopped by my neighbor because there is an honest to goodness barn owl just chilling out in the trees

I would totally be the kind of neighbor that would stop people to point out an owl

also for some reason it did not occur to me that seattle would have barn owls but i guess we got plenty of rodents hanging around for them to eat

lord knows I've seen rats and rabbits hanging around the neighborhood
