and yeah hsr is really fun! it hits in a different way than genshin for me, and i think that having a core CAST rather than the mc+their pocket pal really helps me be more engaged in the story...like with genshin's stories, i AM invested but i generally dont connect to the traveler as much? trailblazer my beloved i have feelings about you (and march and dh)

yeah like. i don't dislike paimon, and i think theyve gotten better at writing her, but their choice to make her the traveler's ONLY companion means she's the sole speaking voice in that situation, whereas we have dan heng and march to bounce off of each other, + the rest of the crew and the focus characters of each arc
