i kno tiktok is the devil and for chronically online people with 0 attention span vulnerable to propaganda and believing everything they see on social media (i don't actually believe this btw i'm being satirical) but damn is it good for finding community in situations where it would otherwise be inaccessible, if not impossible
✏️
in an ideal future i would be in a nonhostile environment and have tons of friends from all walks of life to relate to and learn new things from every day, and all my community needs would be fulfilled,
✏️
but rn and in the current near future i'm living in a dystopian hellscape where everyone i care for or will ever care for is not within reach geographically (THIS COUNTRY IS TOO FCKIN BIG) and, uh, the environment Is hostile, so

this is actually an ok alternative i guess
✏️
on a more personal note;
also factor in my desire to be a ghost in 80% of reciprocal social situations... that's probably the main thing that makes it work so well for me tbh.
these days all i really need to curb loneliness is to be exposed to relatable people (....so i've been so starved that my standards are That low LOL. but this aint about that rn)
