With the 11th Doctor's run finished, I'm going to jump back to classic Doctor Who with the 3rd Doctor story "The Mind of Evil." (Or I'll start it, at least; it's a six-parter)

Wonder what's going on in a prison that's enough to pique the Doctor's interest.

Calling the method of removing evil impulses "infallible" seems like calling the Titanic "unsinkable".

I wonder how long it will take for the evil impulses to turn into some kind of blob of pure evil. I'm guessing by the end of the first episode.

Meanwhile, someone's trying to disrupt the World Peace Conference - given what I've heard about this season, I'm assuming it's the Master who's responsible for that.

No blob of pure evil by the end of episode 1.

The Doctor describes a whole world disappearing in flames. I assume it happened during the First or Second Doctor's run, though it sounds eeriely similar to the description of the end of the Time War.

Finished the second episode. No blob of evil yet, so maybe I misjudged the pacing of the classic series. I think I'll stop here for now.
