Player Characters start off by stepping through one of the infamous Fairy Rings of lore and find themselves teleported into the Realm of the Fae/Fairies. The particular portion of the Realm is called the Fae Wild and is ruled over by the mysterious and dangerous creature called The Handmaiden.
Communication is done through hand mirrors gifted to players by the Handmaiden and her helper pixies and brownies. Eventually, travel to the other parts of the Fae Realm will be possible for events. And while exploring the Realm at large, players might be able to discover the reason why the Courts are at odds with one another and what the deal with the
Currently, the game is invite-only, with people on the mods' plurk timelines being able to join without a definite invite. Invites & Reserves open on the 1st of each month and Applications are open starting on the 6th of each month until the 10th.

I did read about the non-human characters bit but I'm afraid I don't fully understand it. If we have like a REALLY inhuman character like a talking animal are you giving the OPTION of humanizing them or is that a requirement?

: per our head mod, anthropomorphic animals such as talking cats, foxes and dogs will get to keep their normal forms. There is, of course, the option to be fully humanized if you'd like, but it's not necessary.
However, for mechanical forms, such as transformers or androids, they will get full human-like bodies, since their tech cannot be supported in the Fae Realms due to all of the magic in the air.
