Oh man, I realized I could go full ham on hilarity and add more for her background that she doesn't even know herself. Like, being from some high-born family and given away for some reason (protection from attacks, them loving sons, superstition) and now she's just... a wild child

So I'm thinking less wealthy family and more high born for the familial military/tactician history. Too many people ready to back them, and connections with both humans and vampire courts, so they're seen as a threat (despite having no intention of starting wars or rebellions or what have you)

Rumblings go up, so they send the unknown baby away before bad things happen. Luckily the family isn't annihilated, but it, uh, just seemed safer to not bring her back? Like, holy shit people in politics and nobility can be sensitive, so who's to say that it'll stay safe
