Good morning! I’ve been moved out of the ER to a ward. I arrived just in time for a marvellous breakfast. I’d barely started when a porter arrived to take me for another X-ray.

My sil is coming over to pick up my keys so she can take care of my kitties. She lives an hour away and has mobility issues, so she can’t come every day. My other sitter lent me some giant dog dishes, so they can be filled

emmiie: I’m glad I got to see the kitties for one day. Now they know I’m alive and will be back. I’m not sure what they think about my situation the next day. I spent 12 hours dragging myself to the bathroom, leave a long trail of pee! I’m dreading going home to that.

My sil was very brave. She offered to wash the towels I used to try to clean up after myself.

emmiie: There’s no way to explain to them what’s going on. Sometimes I’m tempted to use the drop in feature of Alexa so they can hear my voice.

emmiie: I programmed lights to turn on and off.

Joan_W : That is sweet, we turn lights on when we're going to be home late. So that is great you do that.
