Sadly I think it’s the new normal and that scares me. It’s almost like electing Drumpf back in 2016 started the ball rolling and gave all these morons an ego boost.

It definitely demonstrated that you don't really need to keep your fascism quiet anymore, just lie really loudly all the time.

it's so bad. I was on the phone with my sister this evening and she was in tears. she's scared. he won by a lot in her province. when we were on the phone she could hear people outside celebrating. 🤮

There is certainly a rash of non-politicians getting elected president over the last several years. France is regretting their choice and Macron is hardly as wild as this guy.

I can only hope the rest of their govt somehow keeps him in check.
