i find it crazy that people online call others npc and genuinely seem to think that the world is just the matrix or something. makes me think some of them need more psychiatric help than me. i mean i already feel like myself and everything around me is fake half of the time but i'm still stable enough to understand that's just how my brain makes me feel and

not the reality of things. when you look around yourself in a city, you see so many other people going through life, you make connections with people online and in more direct social situations. surely they don't think all of that's fake? how self obsessed do you have to be to not acknowledge and question everyone else's existence over your own

i think more than just thinking of possibilities and having fun, this type of stuff often creates even more of a lack of empathy in our society. we are already so detached and desensitized from things happening to others in the world because we are constantly online and informed on them, for some this might just be another way to not face reality.

and the funny thing is, the people acting like this often are the ones calling everyone ELSE crazy. like i don't think you're crazy man but i think you could use some therapy or at least social lessons. you're not as cool as you think you are and not caring about others isn't cute
