>someone claiming that I was qualified for a credit card called earlier and I told them I wasn't available to talk
>do some digging on this

>it quickly turns out the fucking number that called me was a scam line

what legit credit card company would contact people to offer them one, rather than waiting for potential customers to come to them?
Dɪɴɢɢᴀ
the legit way here is the bank sending you an application in the mail
てへぺりんこ~
Dɪɴɢɢᴀ thank, that'll help a lot if I have to deal with this shit again
Dɪɴɢɢᴀ
that's how BPI used to do it. I got an application for a card when I was only in high school

Yeah, I got mine by logging into my bank's website and they were like "Hey do you want our app? Hey do you want our credit card? Hey do you want our app? What about our app???? Have you considered using fingerprints instead of a password? Have we mentioned we have an app????????" to make you click through all the offers before you fully logged in

They're annoying and pushy but it's not usually out of the blue like that
