sooooo, he broke their one big rule in their society which is "always be neutral and don't seek political gain" which is like Treason, BIG TREASON, and it turns out it wasn't once or twice, he was in the middle of orchestrating some nasty shit.....
so he got tried, found guilty by their mother then sentenced to death, and all the siblings had to stand in witness to his execution and Gilia is the family singer which means she had to sing non stop while he slowly got smothered to death over hours
but she was his narcissistic manipulative chew toy all their life, in part because she was next in line, he spent the whole slow death cursing her for not saving him after all he'd done for her!! blaming her for it and saying she did this to him and then just screaming for her to save him.
and then the whole thing repeated in a different form with her younger sister Elspeth that she had always been pitted against, but ultimately Gilia couldn't kill her and instead broke her out of the dungeons in the middle of the night.
which has gotten her at worst, called a weak and selfish leader who couldnt keep her word pronouced as law, or at best, pathetic for her soft heart that makes her an unfitting queen
this is actually why I had him ask abt what she would have done! not to get that info ICly, but to stir up the dissonance for her, I know she do got some real rat bastards in that house ๐
