[OC] So I don't have a final name for him yet but I'm making an Inquisitor who is just the worst dude.

Inquisitors are imperial officials charged with rooting out chaos corruption, fighting against the imperiums enemies, etc, and they're generally pretty grim and harsh but this guy...

well, about 20 years ago in a fit of total hoplessness, he swore to serve chaos to save his life.

he immediately blocked all memory of this out of self-denial but ever since he's become very efficient at making the empire more efficient by destroying hope and joy.

He probably shows up on the planet sometime in the midgame and he HATES IT HERE.

His immediate goal is to get this space marine back on task so they can conquer the planet and turn it's population and industry to making more war machines to fight chaos.

When that doesn't work, he sulks and grumps around, fighting Chaos but not in a very helpful way.

eventually, he goes mask-off for the endgame, to provide everyone a vessel for Chaos to incarnate through in order to fight everyone for the final battle.

and when you purify him and remove all the evil there's basically just...like, dust left behind

heck, maybe he files the report that gets the Empire to come to destroy the world?

I think his level of antagonism starts kinda mid, falls off for a slump, and then rises well into the stratosphere until he's on a sub-orbital trajectory, being pummeled by magic.
