Motherfucker. Teri is being forced out of their insurance because they technically have access to their work’s far inferior but more “affordable” experience. Unless we can figure out how to stop California from means-testing them out they’ll need to pay $600 out of pocket to make it up, which they can’t do.

We need help preventing this from happening. Any advice on how to keep from being means-tested out of the better insurance is welcome

i'd contact San Francisco County - Bay Area Legal Aid and see if they have someone on their team that can help
