Had 90 minutes to take an exam. Got through eight and half questions out of ten. My total score? Two and a half.

I tried my hardest but I just can't wrap my head around these finance equations.

These equations are like d=P [i over 1-(1+1)-n]

I'm nearly in tears right now out of sheer overwhelmed frustration. I thought I wouldn't do very well but to get only TWO full questions right? I might have gotten number nine if I had more time but I ran out of it.

It's finance equations, so maybe? Honestly, anything beyond calculating simple interest is beyond me. I haven't even been able to find the right answers to the compound interest problems. I try to plug in the right numbers into the equations but I just keep ending up with the wrong answers.

Hmmmm. I'm wondering if there's some way I could talk you through them for practice or something.

But I'd probably need to be able to, like, show you a spreadsheet or something so you can see what I'm talking about

Well, I can get points back by redoing the problems, showing the work done, and figuring out where I went wrong in the first place, so that might be handy in the next week or so when I tackle these problems.

The problem is I keep having no idea WHERE I'm going wrong in the first place.
