so I keep getting this phone ad during my games, for a plastic surgery & etc treatment center

and it throws me every time bc the girl says: "Hiii, I'm Nasaya Mancini, I'm the current Miss Nevada 2019"

...which means not the current Miss Nevada

Unless that contest is only held every four years like presidential elections

i mean....I guess technically it's correct, as she is and always will be Miss Nevada 2019 but...uh.....

I mean, yeah, but it's the current that's throwing me off, because that's... not how that word is used (generally speaking)

Yeah that is super awkward phrasing, to put it politely

Can't tell if marketing tactic of that pageant winner habit of never really letting go of the crown....

and she does this really nervous laugh as soon as she's said it, the whole ad is just weird

and yeah I'd lean towards that second one personally, but it's still weird
