ya it helps if I press my lower back against a wall or doorframe and slooowly stretch forward/bend over

my pt recommended standing bridges for lower back pain and they've worked for me! stand against a shelf or the back of a chair, something that will keep you from bending below the waist, and lean back as far as you can. i do 3 reps of 20 a day, its helped a lot
