kinda crazy that terrorism is only terrorism when it's done to western countries and countries with western support. but when it's done to palestine "it's complicated" and "israel has a right to defend itself".

when russia invaded ukraine, we were all horrified. we argued that they're occupying ukraine, trying to take back land that isn't theirs and that ukrainians have been living on for years. when russia bombed ukraine and you'd see the destroyed buildings on the news, we all agreed to stand with ukraine to defend itself from occupation

but when palestine does the same, "hundreds of israeli children are dying". when palestine kills israelis, we call it murder. when palestinian children are being bombed, the news say they just died. they're human shields. when hamas is being disgusting, it suddenly reflects on the entirety of palestine.

it's NOT a hamas israel war. it's israeli occupation of palestine. this is NOT a war complicated because it's about religion. israel MADE it about religion. israel is brainwashing their people to believe palestinians hate jewish people and they need to be eradicated so jews have freedom, yet are bombing jewish people in palestine.

this was NEVER about religion. it was NEVER about both sides hating each other. they didn't BOTH exist at the same time and suddenly start fighting each other. it's NOT a war that's been going on since hamas bombed civilians, it's an occupation and genocide going on for SEVENTY YEARS. seeing people boil it down to hamas actions is disingenuous and disgusting

and not to be like this but if you talked about the jewish genocide the same way, i would probably punch you in the face.
