/ : Was AFK today because I'd returned to Salem to sell my books with my friends in the New England Horror Writers - We were supposed to go yesterday (Saturday), but we were seriously rained out >.<

Sold more books than I did the last time in Salem (almost double the amount). Sold out three titles!

I found a cafe with awesome food and an awesome co-manager, who's a queer Christian gal.

Saw some awesome costumes on folk passing by, including a mothman which woke up ten year old Ref who got wigged out by a kids' book on cryptids, which included a chapter on the mothman.

I find cryptids cool (my personal favorite is the Dover Demon since it turned up the year I was born), but the mothman wigs me out.

So, this person succeeded in spooking me.

One family costume group I saw: a group of pumpkinheads, ie, folks wearing nicely carved carveable fake pumpkins as masks, and these were full-size pumpkins.

Would have taken a picture, though considering they had kiddos, I decided against it.
