character sexualities and gender and such

for my crew first:

Vierna is um. Not sure herself honestly? I think she's bi, and she doesn't have any particular complaints with her assigned gender, but growing up as a noblewoman in a particularly controlling menzoberranyr noble house was... not exactly conducive to exploring one's identity.

I don't think she had a lot of opportunity to experiment with sex and relationships outside of like, bad ritual sex scenarios, so like... in Trib she's currently just kind of feeling out the experience of having a boyfriend who wants to be with her. She's enjoying herself! But she's still figuring things out.

Tally is a cis girl. She's bi with a pretty strong male lean but she's perfectly comfortable with her attraction to girls when it comes up. Girls are just a sometimes attraction for her.

She's also happy to flirt and kiss with medium characters but she kind of draws the line at actual sex outside her size category.

well, penetrative sex, anyway. And she's pretty picky about other things too. Size difference is something she can carefully work with but it's not a selling point for her.

Metawing is Troll Straight which means pansexual and polyamorous in the specific framework of preferring to have separate partners for specific separate romantic dynamics.

Ideally one each for positive sexual attraction that roughly parallels human romantic/sexual ideals, negative sexual attraction/rivalry, chaste mutual emotional regulation/support, and a trio of a mediator balancing out a pair of attracted but incompatible rivals.

She's a girl but troll gender may or may not function the same as human gender. It's not correlated to reproductive role, for one thing, she's definitely not "female" as humans would understand it.

Much is Happily Married. I honestly am not sure if he's straight or if he's just deeply monogamous and happens to have pair-bonded with a woman before having any serious relationships with men.

By which I mean he spent fifteen years in a mutual pining situation, they figured it out, and then were married within a year and have been together for two centuries.

Leigh's gender situation is complicated but can best be summarized as "they're transmasc but not a boy, except when he is"

I think they're pan? Honestly, like, more concerned about a potential partner's ability to vibe with their gender than they are about the potential partner's gender.

Plunk is generally not attracted to mammals. I'm not sure what her tastes are beyond that, honestly. She might not be entirely sure either, she kind of grew up with most/all of the other avian folks she knew being members of her own family.

I don't think she'd be exclusively attracted to other kenku but I'm not sure where the lines are.

She's a cis girl and I'm also not sure if she has a preference in terms of the gender of partners
