(also, for as much as champ goes off on what a pain that glitch is combined with the random invincibility time, i can’t believe she didn’t mention what would have been my last straw: it doesn’t look like you can pick up rings during the i-frames)
god, so much jank and questionable creative decisions that may not be good but i still find really charming as someone who was on the internet in sonic circles at the time. that Final Countdown midi was the cherry on top.
