She's brilliant, mimi . I wasn't into her style at the time, but I was into James Taylor, and saw them perform together at the Troubadour in Hollywood back in... 1970? She was an excellent musician, and a better songwriter

I don't think many 17 year old boys can appreciate a female songwriter. I certainly couldn't at the time
