[f&h termina] one actual intentional comedy beat that amuses me

this is Vile, an early game enemy who will kick your ass

he fights with insecticide, spraying it to poison you and also hitting you with the canister

quite dangerous

but in F&H, you can always try to Talk to enemies

if you talk to Vile you just hear him breathing and mumbling incoherently under his mask

and can say various things to him

but if you say, on three consecutive turns,

"What?"

then he gets frustrated that you can't understand him through his gas mask

so he takes it off

and then

dies of insecticide poisoning

LMAO

thinking about this tbh

same energy

yeah

a more subtle bit I appreciate: most of the other Dangerous Boss-like Enemies have special loot that makes them worth engaging (or in a rare case or two, nothing at all in order to make it clear that you just were REALLY DUMB in not avoiding it)

Vile just has normal villager drops

Vile is just, a dude, who happens to have the perfect means of murdering you (and also himself)

yeah there's no real reason to fight him

he sucks
