[ health / anxiety ]

I have not done pretty much anything tihs morning because I am unreasonably nervous about my first decompression appt today and aaah? aaaah.

I've looked it up pretty thoroughly as well as them explaining it and I don't even think there's going to be a problem! But it's a new thing and that plus general anxiety over sooooo much medical stuff this week means I am nervous as FUCK.

also I charged and am bringing headphones but I'm kinda worried they won't let me use them for some reason and that I'll spend 45 minutes in silence and I don't think that will be good for my brain so there's that too

So upsides: I can wear headphones; the room is ncie and dark, and the pressure actually feels pretty good; it is not terrible

Downsides: I actually hurt but NOT where they were putting the machines? I gotta talk to them when I go back about that I guess; they finish up with a TENS unit and while the actually tihng is fine, it's stingy when it shuts off

but I know what to expect now and I think I'll be less freaked thursday when I go back
