what is it with my mostly female friend groups and liking one guy that just so happened to slip into the friend group

It happened twice in high school and now it’s happening again

Problem is I still like the dude but he’s dating one of the girls in the friend group. Everyone respects their boundaries except ONE girl who is constantly pushing the line if she isn’t toeing it
