Inspired by stock icons, but done with actual movie caps. While cap sorting for the Barbie Character Icons, I kept thinking 'this shot would make such a cool aesthetic/mood/vibe icon, so I figured I'd make an aesthetic/"stock" set, just not with stock photos but actual movie caps

the post shows you all 100x100 DW sized icons from the set, and the download link in the post includes all those icons in 200x200 for Plurk, moodboards, visuals post and other such shenanigans.

I've also been thinking I might test drive this as a concept. Do people like the idea of aesthetic/pseudo-stock inspired icon posts specifically for fandoms/movies? if y'all vibe with this, I might include sets like that for other shows/movies I'm making icon sets for. again, always taken from the actual movie/show rather than inspired by it.

as someone who used to use aesthetic icons for my personal journal in ljrp, I do love the idea of it having a comeback haha

this btw was the shot in the movie that I stared at while cap sorting and went "I wanna make an icon out of it but it's not really great as a character icon". So we can all thank the amazing barbie set design for this

ᴄʜɪʟʟᴇᴅ ᴄʜᴀɪ : I've been meaning to do more in that vein, I'm just still super new to icon making so I have no idea where to go for good aesthetic pics to use tbh. And since I'm doing lots of fandom caps anyway this seemed like a fun way do do it :3

I LOVE aesthetic sets. I honestly would use aesthetic icons for some characters even if they have good quality caps with their face.
