Knuckles does get to meet an Echidna just after his current Canon Point and he's so super excited to see this old man Echidna it's just adorable.... and then we find out he's evil because of course he is T_T

However he's not the only White Echidna, there's also one in Archie Sonic and one in Sonic Chronicles: Dark Brotherhood. (That sonic RPG on the DS) and all three of them are evil, so yeah never trust a white echidna I guess lol
