mom and I are officially glad we drive home last night, it’s been storming since like 5 am at least. My town is under a flood watch. People were bad last night but do not wanna see what they would have done in the rain this morning. No thank you.

Con wise - I did more sales on the 12-7 Friday than the 10-7 Saturday.
They banked on 1,000 people coming out for this weekend and we did not get that. (The food vendors who prepped food for 1,000 people were not happy)

Now, they did have to move the con 25 miles south to a new town because of some issues with their old venue. And that likely had an effect on it.

And even with that, because I did so well Friday, we did cover table cost and hotel costs and made a profit.

So mom and I are considering giving next year a shot to see if it gets better, if they are settling in the same spot. Though it sounded like they were gonna try and get back to or close to their old venue

I'm so glad you were able to turn in a profit!
