so they got lab results back from my uterus after they removed it last month bc they wanted to check the diagnosis, since when they tried to put a camera in there before i was bleeding too heavily for them to see much and they could only determine "probably precancerous hyperplasia" from the biopsy
turned out it was a little past precancerous, it was actually cancer! albeit stage 1a womb cancer so like, earliest stage they can detect, hadn't gone out of the womb wall to other tissues yet
however the good news! is that the treatment for that would have been a total hysterectomy inc ovaries/tubes anyway and that's, literally just what i had, before they could find this shit,
so i have been told most likely that has solved the problem before we knew it was quite that bad a problem, i just need to keep an eye out for any weird big pains or bleeding starting again in the next few months, and also can't take hrt for menopause symptoms until they're sure it's all gone
but yeah no sign of that so far, im still recovering well and slowly recovering my ability to focus lmao - i'll be off the blood thinners by the end of this week, mostly already up to my housework activity levels before surgery, parents still helping me with groceries for a little while longer bc i'm not allowed to lift stuff for another couple weeks
it does mean the hospital visits aren't over yet bc i'm gonna need more followups and also got referred over to the genetics dept bc they want to figure out if there's any underlying cause my family should know about, but glad i'm in good hands with all this support wew lads
so glad they did the hysterectemy for you in a timely manner
