sometimes I vaguely wonder why touch typing doesn't seem to be a skill a lot of people have considering how chronically online a lot of us are

I remember we'd have computer class where we were taught proper finger positioning and then we played typing games with the goal of having the highest wpm with fewest errors

there was a typing class in high school that I was TA in but I never actually took the class lol. Even though the teacher was like 'you sure you don't want to?' but I guess I figured my own way around keyboards somehow
