tbh i wonder so much about how animals feel and think and communicate it pisses me off that we haven't yet figured out more about their social lives and brains. it sounds absurd but i just think there is so much more going on in their heads than animalistic instincts that we just don't know. they're probably so much smarter than we give them credit for

we know they're capable of feeling and expressing emotions and communicating, so they HAVE to also be thinking. either in their own language or in pictures. they have ideas and thoughts just like us, they probably just process them differently
pudding
i just think that animals problem solving proves they have more thoughts than instincts only. i wanna know what they think about the world, i am so interested in what they would say if they could speak human languages
pudding
also obviously different animals have different kind of intelligence levels. i'm not expecting every single animal to have cohesive thoughts and opinions, but a lot of them do. i wonder how they would express those. i wonder if they care at all about the meaning of things.
pudding
just like how it doesn't make sense to me that we are entirely alone in the universe, it makes little sense to me why we see ourselves so confidently as the only intelligent and empathetic life form. or somehow above everything else. humans have come so far technologically, yet we know so little about our own brains, let alone other species
pudding
i wonder what cats think of humans
pudding
i wonder if my cat knew i loved her
pudding
probably to an extent
