Ange Relink... is sadly gonna bomb, it's not as compelling as Vierge and the rate in which chars are gonna release is horribly slow, there are only TWENTY playable chars in a franchise with about 10x that many chars in their IP pool

It'll need very low graphics to handle the cheap load from Vierge to last it 8 years like the predecessor but some of the UI are quite unappealing. When Vierge started the UI was very fresh and colorful, Relink I need to fkin squint my eyes for the text

I feel the same about Love Live SIF2, it's depressing

I sank a lot of time and emotional energy into SIF1 and loved it a lot, SIF2 is inferior to SIF1 in almost every aspect and just feels like it was made by people who don't understand any of the reasons that people liked SIF1

Sequels have always relied heavily on veterans of the first 😞

I'm waiting for the global version (I played JP for a couple of months) and at the moment it feels like SIF2 JP is doing badly enough it could EoS without getting as far as a global version

as someone who liked collecting cards of all rarities, SIF2 basically being UR-only with bad rates and not great for F2Ps isn't fun, but also there isn't a lot for whales to whale on either, so it's kind of... who are they even aiming for

and sounds like the same issue as Ange Relink, there's now four groups in the game, like 40 girls or however many, but the UR release rate is s l o w

people are going to be waiting for their best girls for a while.......

you think about OG LL and how big they were with legendary seiyuus and like how is it possible to mess up an IP that big like one time they were so big

and that they shut down SIF1 and All Stars with only SIF2 as a replacement... and then in global regions it's like, they shut down SIF1 and AS and there is no replacement because there's still no announcement on when a global version might happen

having no available current Love Live games available to play outside of Japan (and with no idea when any might be coming) doesn't feel like a great marketing strategy to me, but what do I know

all they had to do was basically port SIF1 but, I don't know, add new features, make it a bit more 'modern' I guess, but SIF2 lacks so many things in comparison to SIF1
