idk how everyone walks around da earth and can cope with the fact that even da ppl they most adore have probably said horrible things ab them in secrecy like every time i think about it i want to collapse to the floor

i think it being so universal helps a lot. nobody is immune yk. and usually when i shit talk people its not because i hate them its because i am frustrated with them in the moment like. its fleeting. and i still like the person. and i know for a fact i have frustrated people in the past so i get it. idk if that helps much but thats how i think about it

people have flaws, us included, and someone pointing them out does not devalue us as people. We're all interesting and important in our own ways and to different people so there's no reason we should ever stop loving ourselves and all of human nature. I hope you have a great day

idk it’s like nothing that anyone ever says about anyone else is ever that noble to just be a flaw or a moment of frustration it is always so big and nasty but business just continues as usual when that person is around.. i do not want to live like this how can any of us feel like any connection we have is real

tortchip!!!!!!! : i can't act like I've solved the case but if you feel defeated by the fact that it just happens and there's nothing you can do about it, my best tip would be not doing it yourself and getting angry at people when they do it with you. That way you either take out some toxic people out of your life or they actually stop doing it. Trust comes after
