I broke down and finally ordered a new toaster. I’ve been without one for many years. Used to use my toaster oven for toast. Took longer but I was ok with that. It doesn’t fit on top of the new microwave so well though. I’ve been using the microwave’s grill feature to make toast but it takes like 10 min.That’s why I broke down and ordered a toaster.

It should be here tomorrow afternoon if I’m lucky. Will be nice to have toast quickly again. Especially considering that’s usually all I have for breakfast these days. I ordered this one.

I chose that one because it’s got those baskets for making toasties plus it has a cover for when it’s not in use. Clever. Still gotta find a space to place it. LOL

I use my air fryer for toasting too, it's nice to have that contrast. It's shaped like a toaster oven.

Anke : oh yeah the air fryer is excellent for toasties and nachos too! Unfortunately I store mine on a shelf and have to use it on the kitchen table so it’s a pita most of the time. Plus I dread cleaning it when I’ve made something really drippy like fried fish or chicken nuggets.

Prue : that’s cool! My stovetop has two induction burners and two heat lamp burners. I use the heat lamp burners mostly.

Frickin DHL didn’t deliver today!
Whenever a delivery is scheduled for a Saturday, they usually bail on me. My house is difficult to find so they go to the harbor office instead, that’s closed on Saturday. It annoys me because they said “they missed me”. You didn’t “miss me” asshole! You just refused to try to find the house! Come back!

Now it’s scheduled for Monday. I’m pissed. I feel like canceling and buying one at the other shop instead. But that would mean having to get dressed and such.

Gingo! : no it’s not the vendor fault but this particular model is not available in their shops, on,y online. A similar model (but not the same brand) is available at their competitor in store. For €23 less too. I’ll just wait until Monday. I’ve got no spoons for this but I’m still pissed at DHL. This is not the first time they’ve done this either.

I hope it comes, or if not I'd do the same and go for the lower priced option
