I may ask to reroll 'summer camp' bc if I adhere to actual summer camp that's like. a really American concept as far as I'm aware and I signed up with furuba and am not interested in doing a US au for furuba, but I may be told to keep it and just treat it more loosely since we are allowed to treat the prompts loosely
cuz I'm looking at 'farm/ranch au' and I'm like 'man Yuki is such a city boy though' but that truly wouldn't matter if I were taken further away from mundane real world so I wouldn't be thinking about canon circumstances as much
I AM HONESTLY PRETTY SAD ABOUT THE SET I GOT but I realized also while writing this email that if I had started with a fandom that was already like in a fantasy world or in space or something then summer camp/farm wouldn't have been nearly as disappointing
I basically said "I don't want to write them as culturally American but if I just treat 'summer camp' as 'camping in summer' or something then it's not even an au"
god, i'm like. i'm just going to have to write the enneads as culturally american because i don't know jack or shit about modern egyptian culture and i'd be afraid of fucking that up
