Overall it was a great time! It's super obvious that it was Neil Gaiman's work, but that's to be expected. I'm sure he didn't want to try to pretend to be Pratchett in any way either.

I enjoy the concept of Heaven and Hell both just slowly falling apart.

I think I understand anyone who was frustrated about the ending but I don't feel like it's completely out there from a character standpoint either. Very much some "I can fix him" vibes from Aziraphale that I do think suit him.

And Gaiman’s been clear it’s the middle part of a trilogy.

Yeah.

I can't put my finger on it but Beelzebub's new actress didn't really vibe with me.
Mυrder Mυғғιɴ
I did like the previous one better
Jemisaur
Agreed. Something about the new Beelzebub just didn't work for me.
Jemisaur
I was frustrated with the ending, but purely because I don't like unexpected emotional disappointment with no chance of resolution any time soon.

My mum's comment after we sat in silence for the entirety of the credits was "Guess that was Empire Strikes Back".

LMAO
