Sewing people! I have a problem and I don't know how to word it to even begin looking up how to fix it. It's an invisible zipper.

Jemisaur
The zipper has opened. The slide of the zipper is at the top and the length has opened from top to bottom.

Jemisaur
Normally, you'd pull down to open. Pull up to close. The zipper head is up top and the zip is open except for the top, like centimeter.

Jemisaur
I think I might have to pull the slide off the top and rethread it from the bottom?

【ThatAlistair】
That's called a separated zipper and there are a whole bunch of guides.

Jemisaur
Okay, separated... a lot of things are saying about manually pushing the zip closed.

【ThatAlistair】
You can do that. Usually by taking the zipper, one side in each hand, and bending each side away from the other, to spread the teeth out, then roll them so they mesh like they should.

Jemisaur
Yup.

Jemisaur
That's what's happening

Jemisaur
he thicker part of a seam is proving a problem, so I'm having breakfast and then going back to it

【ThatAlistair】
If it's too big of a problem, you can also just. Replace the zipper. Because once it breaks, it's more likely to break again.

Jemisaur
I fixed it!

【ThatAlistair】
Yay!
