- Cold: Non-stacking status applied to enemies that does 9 damage to them at the end of your turn, ignoring block/graze. If you apply Cold to someone who already has Cold, they immediately take 18 damage

- Teammates: Complicated. Allies that sit in your hand as cards, providing passive bonuses each turn but also capable of doing their own special moves or ultimate attacks

Yeah they work on pretty similar mechanics except the stat is called loyalty, other players can attack them directly once summoned, and they can theoretically do their ult as often as they have the loyalty for it (but most ults are basically wincon tier)

the thing I figured out after this summary is that using a non-ultimate active skill does discard the teammate as well

but when you redraw them, they remain Summoned

social butterfly is a 3 green ability that puts an ethereal teammate in your hand every turn and they lose ethereal once summoned

theres another card that will double any passives, and another that will immediately set off passives while hitting everything on the field
