my natural speed is approx 6mph (which worked out as 5mph when walking into & out of town because of having to wait for various crossings).

to pull in my stride length a little to be safe on the machinery but that then ends up being about 120 steps per minute (fairly reliably close each time, varying only a little higher or lower).

quite a long-legged beastie but tends to carry a bag full of (survival etc) kit around rather than a half coconut shell for cover.

intrigued that (a) there is a travelator within striking distance and ( b ) that you’ve venture forth from your safe space.

referring to the treadmill one I bought (as opposed to the traditional hard labour and mountain retreat treadmill model which was more like a hamster wheel).
