They're definitely canon. I'll be honest and say I'm not into the series BUT I respect it. Ken adores it.

Strange New Worlds is my favoritests of all the Treks, flat out.

Lower Decks is one of the most continuity-dense, detail-dense Treks ever. It's like how Stargate was written by geeks.

I can appreciate Lower Decks for what it does and brings to the Trek universe, and Ken gives me recaps while we garden, usually. I just have a very low tolerance for animated shows, especially quick-paced energetic ones. It's a me thing.

Ceejay Writer : I can get that. Not dissimilarly, I can't watch the very popular anime One Piece because I loathe the art.

Anime is especially difficult for me.

Alas.. I've got a couple I recommend (they're all old now).
