SOTRP/Plot with me for August

due to RL drama I feel so behind this month but now that have more energy hopefully I can get back on the RP wagon and fix that.

Altair is doing ok. Peace's disappearance was really hard on him so he's more sullen than usual. I don't really have any plans for him besides trying to do more with some of his interests. I will be putting up a new Peregrine log up soon and I would love to do more with the Juno Steel detective agency and his secret job as an art thief.

he's very settled into the game now so I want to focus on some of his interests more. Altair has always put the needs of the people he cares about before himself and the idea that he should live for himself is still a bit foreign to him. He has started to show more of his fishing culture which he has buried for years and I would love to play more with that.

as always he needs more friends to annoy him and drag him into fun shenanigans and I'm sorry Altair but I want more bad influences for him. I want to play with his darker side more. Everyone has been too nice to him and I love that for him but he has a lot of fun potential for darkness too that I feel I don't get to play with much outside of events.

for the first time ever I'm actually more stressed about Lab orz. There was so much I wanted to do with Arrakis this month and I'm not sure whether to try to still do some of those plans or conquer my backtags and wait for something new? It wouldn't be that ooc for Arrakis to be more scarce after the villagers blamed the Dreamers for the heat.

it reminded him of when he was hunted before and he doesn't want history to repeat itself

my plans for Arrakis long term are still the same. Work on him slowly accepting himself, his music, magic and the fact that he has a future here and that he can be happy instead of distancing himself from everything because he's terrified he will just lose it all again.

he likes it here but he can't help worrying that his time in Lab is just a temporary respite from the death his friend foresaw. Water mage's visions of death have never been wrong so he should be dead and that still haunts him.

and sleepr has once again hinted at his dangerous secret so he's worried people will decide he's a monster if they find out what he's hiding, and they wouldn't be completely wrong either.

he's also going to be devastated when the dragons leave but he will probably pretend he's fine. It's a really bad habit that he needs to break but he's been suppressing his feelings for years so it will take time.

I'm trying to resist looking for a new game since the Ton is closing this month. I think I want one more at some point but I should focus on getting Altair and Arrakis back on track first.

lmk if you want either of my boys anywhere! I might be a bit slow while I conquer their backtag mountains but I would still love to do new things too!
