there'll also most likely show up spoilers up in here, albeit i try and keep them to a minimum. mostly for Sigruds books and given my current to-read pile very unlikely for anything published in the past year XD
tho Annihilation is of them all the one that at least got a somewhat linear, coherent plot. it goes decidedly more... lovecraftian (?) in others. meanings like the stars you only see out of the corner of your eyes
(Reira's canon ends with her- AND SHE WAS 7 MIND YOU, I STILL HATE ARC-V FOR THIS?? wow lets take a literal war victim child who just started developing a sense of identity and throw her into self sacrifice sure ok- but it ends with her basically locking a whole person-turned-eldritch monster into her soul and hitting 'Reset' to stop 'm)
easier to give it than to listen to anyno trauma over Signe involved at all"oh mood"
did alan also go and brutally murder a bunch of innocents as reactionwell, they'd been turned into monsters but he has technically killed a bunch of innocent people and does often struggle with realitywell you didn't kill a whole planet, so that's good :0
time to stop That
