[arknights/event spoilers] I will say that while Huai is a shit dad

he is by far the most hilarious character so far in this event

this man cares about kung fu and his tab not rising higher and NOTHING else

and maybe sometimes that means stealing a very valuable dangerous artifact literally right out of the hands of a government official surrounded by a small army and just. leaving.

because the patient whose expensive medical bill he doesn't want on his tab is throwing too much of a fuss over the sword

this man will only take what he deems to be the most efficient route to solving his problems

so he can get back to kung fu faster

you can almost respect it lmao

head achey, reading through all the arknights lore, so i might be wrong, but i think it's a case of him feeling all his talent/desire is just in kung fu

Qaiser has a lore speculation video that the doctor is really freaking old, like Kal'tsit. I'm liking that theory more and more
