This year, we have five open seats on the OTW Board, and five candidates. Each candidate is technically unopposed and will automatically be elected to the Board following the election process.
The election will still happen, on August 11 – 14. Based on election results, the three highest ranked candidates will be elected to full-term seats, and will serve 3 years on the OTW Board of Directors. The remaining candidates will be elected to the partial term seats and serve 2 years on the OTW Board of Directors.

值得注意的是今年有位共和黨政客參選，她的Q&A和Bio更該仔細閱讀，特別是她提到自己為一個研究兒童上網接觸內容的機構做policy work。

不過這樣的身份參選ao3確實引人疑慮........
雖然政客不是不可以空閒時寫fanfic，但公共身份跟ao3放在一起就......詭異，雖然這或許有違ao3上眾生皆平等的理念。另外她並非空降，她在ao3擔任志願者多年，也符合ao3選舉要求才會入選。
聽說她寫hp，不知道是哪個cp。提自己是政客好像怪怪的
不過她回答第一題時提出AO3應該有個Executive Director進行管理就頗值得玩味了...。
竟然漏了Bio（拍頭），現在補上噗首。
她介紹自己is a policy lead at a nonprofit, continuing a decade-long career in government and policy work.
所以在公共領域工作是確認的。

在AO3被中國黑單的狀況來看，其中一位還希望能增加支付寶跟銀聯等捐款管道來增加投票資格者，老實說，挺微妙的。
看她發推公佈退選時說被獵巫，就很明顯她不適合競選，也不太能進退有度。
不過也挺美國的希望明年不要再有這種候選人了，網路小角落真的不要被過度干涉才好

大概就，大家沒什麼實權，改變都推進得很慢。
我覺得任何國家的政治人物參一腳都不應該，大家應該思考這會引發什麼深層次的問題，而不是單純以國藉行先。即使換成那位年輕的芬蘭前總理也不應該（欸），大家讓fanfic留在網絡上的黑暗小角落就好了。
