that depends, are you using a tablet with screen or is it just the pressure one because the pressure one has a much steeper learning curve because you are developing muscle memory

^good advice. i personally usually do some kind of tan/beige/light brown as a neutral, especially if i wanna work with warmer tones on the overall piece

Digital art being so commonplace wasn't a thing until I was out of school so trying to look for resources and things is ... overwhelming

but starting big makes sure you can resize stuff

and because one of my friends who started digital art didnt know about opacity, always feel free to fiddle with the opacity of your brushes to get a softer or harder line
