Been reading Runaway Max and man. It is trickling in information about Billy to fill in some gaps. I’m loving it so far, like how they’re from San Diego apparently and how Billy gave up his car for two months rather than join some military class thing.

It says a lot to me about Billy for him to give up his pride and joy, his CAR, for two months as a punishment from Neil.
Also the book definitely lets you know that Neil physically abused Billy (I know the show alludes to it, but it’s blatant in the book).
