So 2 years ago as the pandemic is still active, I had been thinking about setting up a tokusatsu-themed sandbox game. I forgot the details by now, but I just wanted a place to RP toku heroes and villains with my pals again in a semi-loose setting
I've got my inspiration after playing Granzella's Disaster Report 4, a disaster-survival game tinged withsoapy jdrama coupled with its strange humor, and thinking about City Shrouded in Shadow -- basically a Disaster Report game but with more sci-fi elements and crossovers
The thing about the Ultra Series is that some of its shows have intricate worldbuilding. They'd often put bits and pieces of flavor text in the shows or in extra material to let you a bit more about the parallel Earth the story takes place in.
honestly I put some elements and ideas of Tsujikawa into Ultern for Faraway Place, since what I wanted for the dressing room is somewhat similar to my tokubox idea

: I'm not sure if I can see myself running another game since I already have my hands full with Faraway Place. But I could borrow the setting for just PSLs or just in the musebox instead!
