for the record I don’t think I’m actually going to run the cultivator gundam grand tournament valor game

So if anyone wants to salvage any part of that they are welcome to do so

I had a lot of ambitious ideas that like

I MIGHT have been able to pull off?

But it would have been exhausting and I would have been very stressed out the whole time

Too many moving parts, too many NPCs to create, too much tactical combat to run

Actually trying to build like 64 teams of 5 gundams was an INSANE idea

Hundreds of NPCs

I had this whole vision of like

The whole tournament happens

Most of it abstracted off camera but if the players wanted to they could spy on other fighters they were worried about

Or watch other matches

And other teams would send assassins after the PCs and there were going to be training montages to master dangerous techniques

It was going to be SO COOL

But I just don’t think I could actually keep track of it all

I think even Quinn, the npc making god, would struggle with that

Anyway my concept for the finale was that the Celestial Empress was running these tournaments because she had reached the limits of her power and to continue improving she needed a worthy rival, so she was using the whole solar system to create the conditions to bring up someone she could fight against
