Kitty update [cw: old sick cat is fading]

As above. She's barely eating, though she's still drinking and she licked the drops of butter from mum's breakfast plate. She's on mum's lap now.

She seems content. She's relaxed and dozy

She's fast asleep, head hanging off mum's lap.

we've always dealt with it by just letting our kitties have everything they want when things start going down. that slide is hard as all hell but i'm sure you gave her a wonderful life. it's the best any of us can ever do.

That's what we're doing. She wants creamy treat? Sure. Heated bed? Yep.

Ahhhh, I'm so sorry. But it seems like you and your mum are doing everything you can for her comfort. Poor old lady.

I did similar with mine. He... went fast. You have my sympathy and I know you're doing fantastic with your kitty.

She's gone back to bed.

I am so sorry. You’re there and she knows that.

Like, last year, she got super sick and then.... picked up. Like 14 months ago. And I'm hoping she might be about to do the same, if she's feeling better because the medication has kicked in and she's feeling less sick.

Well, bed for now. We'll see if she sleeps tonight or screams all night. And how she is come morning

Well the vet did say they weren't concerned so hopefully she's just having a low energy week

I think she was enhausted with lack of food and now she's started eating again...
