I know a LOT of people dislike this movie because uncanny valley owls and it's a very bad depiction of the original books, but man I actually really liked it?

It was entertaining, if a little bit odd, though I may be ignorant in saying because I never read to the books.

But for what it is, it's definitely not a bad movie to kill an hour and a half, imo

the animation is really nice, visually, I must say.

i saw it in theaters and i really liked it

like, if you take into account the movie was release 13 years ago, that's fucking wild.

i didnt think the owls were uncanny valley at all

the cgi is very good

moontouched : yeah!! I thought everything looked fine? The cgi is gorgeous, and hold up INCREDIBLY well for how old it is. and it was fun

but a lot of people just do not like it
